ASIAS Legal Services (ALS) was founded when Partner Jennifer Simms, after years of working as a senior paralegal alongside entertainment attorneys in New York City, decided she wanted to create meaningful change in the industry. She and Lisa K. Stephenson, Public Relations Officer, serial entrepreneur, author, and respected film producer, combined their experience to build a service designed to protect talent—especially in a world rapidly shifting toward AI-driven exploitation.

Lisa has witnessed firsthand how AI and predatory contract practices are threatening creatives, and she is committed to working with Jennifer to ensure artists stay protected, valued, and employed. Together, they created ALS to prioritize transparency, fairness, and true advocacy for actors, models, and creatives who often face systems designed to take advantage of them without proper support.
